Combo Plum Tree
Our Combo Plum Tree is the perfect choice if you are limited on space and can’t decide which plum to plant. Plus, you don’t have to worry about cross pollination! With these varieties, you can harvest delicious fruit from July to September. The varieties on the tree are subject to change each year.
These unique trees feature a combination of any of the following varieties: Blue Damson, Italian, Santa Rosa, Beauty, and Shiro.
Latin Name: Prunus x domestica, Prunus cerasifera, Prunus salicina
Site and Soil: Plums like 1/2 day to full sun and well-drained soil.
Rootstock Description: A semi-dwarf rootstock for Plums and other stone fruits, Marianna produces trees 10′-12′ in height or less.
Pollination Requirements: The varieties on our Combo Plum trees will pollinate each other.
Hardiness: Hardy to minus 30°F or below.
Bearing Age: 2-3 years after planting
Size at Maturity: 10-15 ft. in height
Bloom Time: March
Ripening Time: July – September
Yield: 50+ lbs.
Pests & Diseases: Our plums are not bothered by pests. Bacterial Canker can occasionally damage trunks or branches. Symptoms of this disease are exudations of amber-colored sap. Spraying lime-sulfur or copper in the fall and early spring can help control Bacterial Canker. Our Combo Plum Tree varietals are great for Northwest growing conditions.
